I have an 03 DHS, and I am transferring my H.I.D. low beam kit (from my ETC) to it.

I am wondering if the DRLs are the brights or the low beams.

The reason I ask, is that if it's not the brights (as on the Eldorado), then I don't know how well the HIDs will work in DRL mode.

Thanks!

I don't know that for sure but I am pretty positive that GM runs their DRLs on either High beams running at 90% or the front turn signals. I have never heard of anyone using the low beams for DRLs. There are kits you can buy that will allow you to switch the DRLs from the high beams to the turn signals or vice versa. Personally I think the turn signals look better as DRLs than the high beams do.

Your DRLs should be the high beams. I believe it's the high beams for 02-05 and low beams for 00-01.
