I hope this is possible. :thepan: I thought there were kits?

The DHS has the Bose system. My DHS does not have a CD changer in the glove box. If I could get the different harness, would it make a difference? I suppose I could rig up a splice that steals the return audio signal from the CD player, using an audio switch to select between auxiliary inputs GPS, MP3, iPod, etc. That's more work but at least I'd be able to do it in the glove box not all the way back to the trunk!

Thanks for your help!

if you had the stock gps yes
if you had an 00-01 yes
if you had a cd changer you could splice into it with a switch
as it stands now though a cassette adapter is your only way

ewww.. how awful.

Is it easy to add the CD changer (auto detect) or does one have to program it with a Tech II or something?

How would it be easier with the stock GPS and how much does that go for (I'd love one).
