Blown CTS-V - you have this ad in the classifieds http://www.cadillacforums.com/cadillac-classifieds/showproduct.php?product=4518 and list the following mods to your car:

- Dana 44 rear differential with 410 gear ratio and optional 456 gear included for change out
- Hyme joints to accommodate new dif from BMR racing

I searched for you as a forum member but apparently you don't exist in the members list. Can you elaborate on this differential setup please? Is this the Viper rear end installed by the Corvette Shop in San Diego? Installed price? If I somehow missed this in the past year, please delete the thread but I found it to be interesting.

Its legit, the boys at the Vette Shop do all my work on my V that Im too lazy to do. James's V has a viper rear with a cradle set in to where he could unbolt the Dana and swap in the original. They dont have build pics, the boys at the Vette Shop are old school, Im going to be doing their internet marketing soon, at which point, there will be lots of images and how tos and all sorts of cool videos involving high horsepower fun. ;)

A dana 44 handling a viper motor are you serious? I have a Jeep cherokee which were available with d44's for a couple years. They are a popular upgrade because the D35 is JUNK and the Chrysler has a few weak points but handling the torque from that monster would have to be really hard on it! That just doesn't sound right! They would have to at least put a D60 in it

Well i just looked it up on wikipedia sure enough it had a D44. Learn something new everyday!
