I just purchased a 1989 Brougham, 70K original miles, and garaged it's entire life. Prior to the original owner dying he had over $3500 in maintenance done to it, including rebuilding the carb. When I accelerate from a stop, the 2004r trans doesn't shift into 2nd until 30mph, 3rd at almost 45mph, and doesn't shift into OD even at 75mph. Trans fluid is bright red and doesn't have a burnt smell to it. Any ideas of what this sounds like? I'm brand new to this site and any help would be greatly appreciated!

before putting too many miles on it, make sure the TV cable is properly adjusted.

Ya the TV cable. Plugs in the back. Make sure it's connected well, or you'll get bad reception.
