Update: 4/30/04 - 10:38 pm PDT:

The OLOA LS placed 4th overall behind: 1.) Porsche 911, 2.) Porsche 911 C2 and 3.) Porsche 911 GT3. The LS pulled .912 Gs in the Wet Skid Pad run and earned 395 points. The Porsches pulled .93, .928 and .915 Gs respectively. TEAM LS is ranked first in its class at this point. The Cadillac CTS-V entries finished 30th and 33rd overall

Thats pretty sweet how they crammed a s/c'ed Roush 4.6 into er', it looks cool and probably handles pretty good. Sad how the V finished 30th.

Although, i bet the V could do better... sighting from the fact that it already has 400 hp stock and its easy to jump that to 430 etc. Mod out everything else and it should woop the LS. Not sure why it didnt though.

Y Ford doesnt build this...I will never know, they have the know how and the parts, with very little in development cost they could easily do this w/ the 390HP DOHC 4.6. Id love to have a supercharged LS, just swap the pully and have 420HP some other mods and another pully swap and you got 500HP for under $1,000.

Thats a pretty amazing thing i wish they would tune the 4.6Northstar to get 400hp out of it.

I have an E-mail coming with all the stats, but it appears the CTSV cars were basically stock while the Lincoln was a one off custom built race car! It's kind of hard to compare those that way and get an accurate reading. Of course it makes a nice feel good story for the Ford guys who know thier stock LS's don't even fair that well against V6 CTS's.;)

Wonder what happend to the Mclearen LS, guess they didnt want to build it after all.

I think that it had the 3.9l V8 and it was supercharged and made 390HP. They could even drop in a Jag V8 and call in a day.
