You must be a youngin! The cats meow was factory AM/FM 8 Track with CB! and 4 speakers was icing on the cake! When I was a kid AM radio was std and FM was an option.... 8 Tracks were popular and cassettes in a car were a new thing.....

I thought it was cool when AM Stereo came along, but it really didn't take off. It is still in most cars today, but no one cares...

I still have stacks of them my mom and dad dumped on me as I have a stand along 8 track player so I can add to any home stereo..... I think they wanted me to copy them to CD for them... If I had time.... That would be 748439234 on the list....

I found that site a long time ago when I was first looking around and researching caddies. That guy is a member here. He name is Ultra Slow, but he hasn't signed on in a long while. I love the 8.2 Liter badge.

A CB radio was actually a factory option on my Fleetwood but I have never seen one.

I have seen them, but they are fairly rare, keep an eye out at swap meets. But they weren't the most popular option, they were somewhat costly compared to the aftermarket ones. Look for the channel display on the main display.

For my car it was not integrated into the factory radio though. I think it was simply installed under the dash like an aftermarket CB would with a separate antenna somewhere on the car.

I love that car as well, it gave me some ideas for my 1996!

GM is still selling ZZ502 crate motors... and it will fit in the '96
