Oh no, I want to be able to see what ernie can do with that 427.

I am playing with the Maggie but I think the final config in the V1 V will be NA. Looking to Lunarx for some pointers when I get to that point.

In progress w/ LS7 heads.
Here is the C5R block, as it sits in prep.

Um, I thought you could leave the engine in the car to do a head swap....

Sorry Randy, but there really is no comparison.

I understand your point about the ease of bolting on a maggie and the huge power gain it makes but I am looking for something that is all motor.

Well the C5R block is a stroker 427ci so obviously you have to yank the motor to do that. And yes you can do a head swap without pulling the motor.

Can you explain, I'm not sure what you mean.

The C5R block is a real 427.

The LS7 block is cheaper.

Oh I get it know, you thought Lunarx had a stock block in his car. The Block he pulled out of the car was the C5R.

Good read, the LS7 block will exceed the strength needed for most street applications---do not buy the crate motor, as the pistons and rods are the weak points, and the dry sump and price tag are also negatives.

Here is another cheaper alternative to the C5R block:

Now that is a bad block. May need to design a dream motor around it and see what it will cost

Wicked block.

So LS7 Titanium Rods are weak?
