1st pic: take out headliner, reinstall.
2nd pic: new signal stalk
3rd pic: couple dabs of silicone caulking, press trim in place, hold with duct tape while the caulk dries
Would this be good?
How about getting a new trim panel and signal stalk, where could I find them? And are there any instructions on here on how to reinstall the headliner? Thanks!
For parts, PM 1990CaddyBrougam. Anthony will hook you up.
To do your headliner:
- remove dome light
- remove hooks
- remove sunvisors
- remove A, B, C pillar trim
- remove rear window trim
- drop the headliner
Are there some screws on that map light assembly so you can take the mount off? Might be easier than doing the whole headliner. I would look for you on my car, but it is boxed in for the winter in the garage...
I think they headliner has already been replaced. That is the only way the dome light would have gotten like that. Unscrew the light with the one screw holding it up near the front. Pull it out and forward, then slide the whole light up and back. There is a metal tab in the roof that the metal tab on the back of the dome light locks into. You may have to push up quite a bit to get the tabs to line up right. Replace screw.
