eBay is one option. www.ebay.com
Right now there are no grills on eBay, but one just ended 4 days ago for $75US.
Is the attached photo the grill you are looking for?

Isn't it weird how here in North America we'd kill for the Catera to look like and Omega, yet in Europe they rather have it look like a Cadillac.....

How true, it's everyone's intent to make our cars look unique among the others one. Better for us in the US since there are fewer Cateras on the road in the USA as there are Opel/Vahauxhall Omega B's in Europe. I hear they are used as cabs over there. Had we had Steinmetz Tuner parts available here in the US, there would be a lot more modified Cateras on the road.

hehe..it's always a mather of being different :D

F! airride :D and it was my daily car ;)

here, the car was as low as it could...coilovers all the way down :D

also i would like to know if that nice front bumper fits some cadillacs catera..like 98?

10-31-08, 05:09 PM
If you would do that, that would be very kind ;)

just need to knoww how much the shipping costs are and how much that grill costs ;)
make sure it's a 2001 grill ;)

you can let me know something @ glenn.lauwers@telenet.be if you want ;)

the frontbumper off my astra G doesn't fit any Catera I think :hide:

I'd like to have alsoo a catera frontbumper but I think the shipping costs will be to much :banghead:
I think it would be much cheaper if I do the same with my omega-bumper as I did with my astra-frontbumper ;)

those rims you had on your opel astra G are the same rims my gf's mom has on her benz s600. I live those seats too. I have them in by 99 sport. I don't know why cadillac stopped them in the 00 and 01 sports. Ony nice thing is memory for mirrors in the new ones. Plus my dad's 01 black sport had a tan with the gray trim (not the acces. trim which of course is slvr) and UGH!!!! who got the idea tan seats were sportier than ANY other color!!! No offense to those of you with tan interior. I had tan in my blue 01 and ALWAYS wanted to pull the seats out of a 99 sport or any other blk seats i could find. I rambled, sorry. =(

KW will be bought as soon as I got the money for it ;)

I've trade those wheels with my Merc wheels + some €€ so that's the reason I bought first the rims instead of the coilovers...

here are some pics:

I'm gonne put them on the car in March/April I guess...(or cause of the global warming perhaps in January )

Normally I'll have the grill within 2 weeks...

An American Guy is comming to Germany next friday and he's gonne send it from there to me :worship:

Pictures wil be posted when I got the grill on the car ;)

maybey this JMS frontlip is an option :

but first I'm gonne see how low thecar will be when I got the coilovers...

Hi Glenn,

as promised, I' ll send the grille to you next week from Germany. I sent you a PM.

Nevertheless, it cracks me up, why somebody would want a Catterac grill on an Opel. I mean, it's an Opel not a Catterac, even though they put badges on the car.

Mine is a 2000 Sport, an early one, so it has the charcoal interior, silver outside. I left the car completely stock, except the rims are painted dark grey and all the Catterac badges are removed, and I call it Opel Omega.

It just turned 90.000 miles and it is a VERY troublefree car. It always gets synthetic oil every 10.000 miles. Trannyfluid and coolant were changed at 60.000 miles.

Oh yes, an Omega is NOT a racecar and if you keep this in mind, maintain it properly and drive it accordingly, it seems to hold up very well.:bigroll::bigroll:
