: X-Pipes (where, why and how much?)

I found someone here who had their stock mufflers cut off, straight piped with a magnaflow x-pipe in place of the resonator. It sounded like sex to my ears.

Anywho, are there any differences between the B&B, Magnaflow and others?

Also, where is the most cost effective place to pick one up at?

Thanks!

EDIT: is this what I'm looking for? http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/MAG10791.htm

If you just want to remove the resonator, try here:

Thanks for the reply. I think this would look great to top it off: http://www.autobarn.net/ractiveovalblack.html

Here is the one I went with, http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MPE-10791&N=700+4294923429+4294921571+4294863086+400636+4294 891681+4294784234+115&autoview=sku It's a really nice piece, and its stainless so it's the same type of material as the stock exhaust tubing.

I had my exhaust guy bend up the tubing for the muffler removal and install the x-pipe.
