Tube days Submarine, on my last patrol I got this.
They would hang it up on on tube 24 when there were 24 days left in patrol and move it to the next tube on day 23, 22, 21 ,20 and so on and so fourth.
I think you get the idea.

How my stuff looks parked in there. The truck and the Lebaron park outside.

How do you get into your Trans Am with those huge doors? I had the same problem with my old 1999 Z28 parked in my tiny 1 stall garage. My current 91Brougham barely fits lengthwise, there is 2" clearence on each end.

There is just enough room to get in and out of it. It is tight, but I manage.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to clean out my garage!
Seriously though, nice organization, mine would look nice if my wife would let me go out in to it.

Yours is much more organized than mine. I have an insulated 3 car garage, 1 double-wide door and 1 single door with pull-down attic stairs. I built it myself. When I designed it I planned for attic trusses. I can get the STS and my Aero in but the 3rd stall holds my woodworking tools. I have natural gas heat, a sink and backup generator to feed the garage and house. I realy need a sawdust collection system!

I'd love to post the pictures of my garage with my '74 Lincoln parked next to my S Class, parked next to my 3000GT VR4...but for now those will have to wait. I can show you a picture of my parent's garage though lol.

well This was the garage before we moved. Now The cars stay ouside :annoyed:and tools are in a shed. I miss working in there, now I have to work outside and bring my tools all the way from my shed and then put them back after I am done with it.:crying2:I wished I had more pictures but this is the only one.

COB, what is that on the front of your STS? It looks like a Christmas Wreath... Nice color car though

In reference to the epoxy on the floor, it's a darn sight quicker and cheaper to trowel down 20# felt paper, chalk line it off and install asphalt or vinyl 12x12 floor tile.

You can even get away cheaper by going to a couple of flooring outlets and buying end-of-run or excess tile left over from a job or two......

Burn up your wife's hair dryer by heating the tiles so they conform to slight imperfections in the floor...........

Yep, it's a Christmas wreath.....right color car.......(......what the devil is an ex-submariner doing in Ontario ??)

I just layed down new epoxy on mine and looks good. Seems to be holding up well.
I hope it last this time...

Maybe he was in HMCS GRILSE (ex USS BURRFISH) which we transferred to Canada in the mid-60's.

Went to a USS JAMES K POLK (SSBN/SSN 645) reunion this summer......the guys from my crew gave me a neat plaque with a polished piece of the pressure hull inlaid......COB 1974 - 1979. I cried. Good crew. Wouldn't trade the experience for love nor money...

Can't put a price on those reunions Sub. Just got back from our annual reunion a few weeks ago. Saw a first timer that I had not seen in 40 years.

+1 for Artie.

It's dark by the time I get home now, but I'll try to get a picture of my garage in all its cluttered glory this weekend. At least there's still room for Betty and Cruella.

I really need to clean out my garage. It's full of crap I never use. Half of that crap my ex-wife bought.

At least I still have room for my cars. Mine is one of the few houses in my neighborhood where the cars are parked in the garage. I had to park Cruella in the driveway for a few days waiting for a shelter to come pick up my old living room furniture, and I hated it. Much colder inside when I'd leave for work, condensation on all the windows and paw prints from the neighbor's cats.

I can't take a pic of it,as the camera done did bust!

At home it's a 2 car, side-by-side single building. It houses the 2 daily
drivers. Wife's 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4X4 Wagon ( Silver),
with 50,700 miles. (XJ, guys, the original smaller Cherokee - the final model year run.
The other side is my 2003 Lincoln Town Car (Spring Feature Car) "THE LIMITED", It's Light Silver-Green Moondust (a.k.a. Cadillac's "Firemist". 11,500 miles.

All the other "toys" are 4 miles from home in a very very special place, unlike any other in the state of N.J. Created by a car-buff for his own collection, he has allowed 6 other people to share in his Little Car Cottage - which is beyond my ability to describe, and you all would not believe it all if I could describe it!
I have 4 cars there, including my 1993 Sixty Special, with 11,103 miles on her.

Here she is, nothing special but it gets the job done for now. Its a 24 x 32 garage, 9 ft cielings. It is alot cleaner now than it was when the pictures were taken. That was shortly after we moved in and had stuff still out there. The other set of cabinets is now hung, the washer and dryer are gone and the rest of it cleaned up. The heater is also hung and working great right now :-)

Haha. I bought it brand new. It has some 17" 7-spoke CTS wheels and 12" F-Body brakes on it among other things. It's honestly fun to drive. (It's one of the rare 5-speed models). You think that looks out of place, you see my Chevy in the other pics below is far more out of place.

That pic was taken the day before it was sold. It was kinda pointless with the V and all, though the 6-speed was nice. It had under 7000 miles on it

The XLR is gone too, lease went up on Oct 18.

Damnit! How come everyone here has cooler cars than me? I drive an old people mobile in summer (although it is quite comfy) and a rusted pile of crap for winter. Damn Illinois (king of the salt spreaders) winters keeps me from investing in a really nice car.

XLR and a Beretta. That is quite a combination.

Yeah, I know. The Beretta is kinda like my toy project car. It has some C5 mag wheels and C6 front brakes on it now.

And it would surprise most of which one of those two has better performance :cool2:

Even with the XLR gone, I'm sure the 300SL will fit most of the topless driving just fine. Though the straight line performance isn't there, the 5-speed manual is much more enjoyable.

^I thought all the SL Benzes were automatics. . . . Since they're more of a cruiser, and not really a sports car.

The '90-'93 300SL was available with a 5-speed manual (no overdrive).

That's kinda funny about not being a sports car. The origin of SL is an acronym for "Sport Light" The "K" is for Compact, the "R" for Racing.

Pictures of my garage. It is trashed right now and is filled with the boxes from the Christmas lights. I haven't had the time to clean it yet. Normally my Mom's Blazer is parked in the empty spot but she was at work when I took the pictures. The car under the cover is my Fleetwood in storage for the winter.
