The bonus is that it is running a chevy engine and not a 4100

Cool! I always loved the Cadillac wagon conversions! The ULTIMATE road trip cars!

It has a dual exhaust but doesn't say how many cubic inches the chevy motor is. I wonder if it is a 305?

I might bid on it...

Oh that is sweeeeet!

I love wagons......actually miss my '94 Subaru's versatility.

This would be a dream machine......I love it!

Somebody should grab it and nurture it.

Martin.

Actually, on the subject of Cadillac wagons, the first one I ever saw was a 76. My god, it looks good. The 86's lines don't lend themselves as easily to the wagon conversion as the 76. Check it out, it looks so good you'd think it was from the factory.

The fine print says it's a 427 L88?? Sheesh! With a 4.11 posi that thing must MOVE.

But was that '76 a "clamshell" back? I mean the '86 is a Cadillac d-body grafted onto a b-body wagon. Hence it doesn't go - especially around the c-pillar.

So were the pre-'77 conversions graft-ons? Or were they completely fabbed? That '76 looks more like a coach conversion (like a little hearse), rather than a merger. :stirpot:

The brushed Stainless "cheater" strip over the roof join is typical of some hearse conversions. Saves a lot of fine blending in the roof-join area. It's way nice. Love the lay-down on the rear window.....sleek! That's one huge wagon!
