Washed with Z-7 (always) then claybarred, and put a coat of Z-5 on the V yesterday after work. Perfect time for a photo op before the sun was totally gone. My town is not known for a great downtown skyline, so I opted for some autumn trees instead.

If you haven't used Zaino before, do it!! The reflections are the bomb! :2thumbs:

No tire shine since I was going to be on gravel, and I still need to get my clearfog lenses installed and get some clear side markers.....would've looked better.

Well you sold me on that photo of the hood reflection. B... E... A... utiful
I just waxed mine so when that starts to go within a month I am going to try it out. You get the whole system? I have clayed before so that won't be a problem but I have not used polishes as much. Nice pics!

I just placed an order yesterday for the Z-7/Z-6 pkg. since I'm running out of carwash. Never tried the Z-6, but you can use it on rims, but that'll hopefully make the brakedust not stick as much. (good thing)

I don't have entire "kits" per se, just bought the claybar, carwash, and Z-5 polish. They say to apply it top to bottom (up and down) on side panels, and front to back on hood/roof/trunk. I didn't think it would make a difference, but it seems to have.

Here's 2 more pics for ya.

You can see the flakes better in this one...gotta love silver

Looks fantastic. I have a date with mine next week with a clay bar and a high speed buffer. Now go throw on the new fogs and the sidemarkers.

You gotta love those flakes on a sunny day. I'm one of those people that keeps looking back at the car while I'm walking away lol. The best thing about caddy paint, is how it shines at night, under some lights. Even if it's a little dirty.

Was looking through Zainos websight. They have so much stuff, it gets a little comfusing . But I have to read up on it cuz I love a shiny car.

Thanks! Ya, definitely need to get the clear lenses in there....just hate making the V sit for missing plastic pieces!

Ya they have $hit tons of stuff. All you really need is 3 things though...
1) Z-7 carwash
2) Z-18 claybar
3) Z-2 or Z-5 polish (your choice they are both badass)

Oh, and a sliver V cuz it's the fastest <- Had to :devilheh:

Not to steal anyone's thunder, here's some hood reflection on the one in my garage:

I just use armor-all with the wax built in.. the V always looks nice after a good rubdown.

Zaino shine doesn't fade for months! I haven't done mine since March and I drive it almost every day.

Twitch: Just get the ZKIT-1 for about $85. That's what you need to start with. The Z-5 is really only needed for dark colored cars. This is because the darker color V's reach higher speeds and need better protection. The Z-2 should be used over the Z-5 if you decide to use the Z-5 as it will produced a higher gloss than the Z-5.

:thumbsup:Good looking V's, you guys are definatley making this Zaino product sound top notch, may have to make a little investment, do they make a cleaner for polished wheels?

Any opinion regarding the Zaino AIO? Hmm so I don't need the Z1? I remember buying Z1, Z2, Z5 and Z6 before.

Again, all you need is the carwash (Z-7) claybar (Z-18) and (Z-2 or Z-5/ your choice) If Z-2 is better than Z-5, I'll buy it. I just have the Z-5 and it kicks major ass. I did get my order of (Z-6) yesterday, but haven't tried it yet. It's for even more shine. (plus you can use it on rims -help keep brake dust off) It was raining all day yesterday/last night and my car this morning didn't have a spot on it. Zaino FTW :2thumbs:

I don't think they make Z1 anymore and the AIO is the replacement. Haven't tried the AIO but it's advertised as a 'cleaner wax'. You shouldn't need it if you go with the full system method. Also, use the Z6 in between coates of Z5 or Z2. You can use only the Z5, but the shine IS better after applying the Z2 on top of it.

It's not raining today, and I'll wash the V up and apply some Z-6 afterwards and take a pic of three. We'll see if it's any shinier :cool2:

Here's a couple shots from the cell this morning. I washed it last night, and Z-6'd it afterwards. Shiiiiiiinnnyy!!! :cool2:
I guess the Z-6 makes it look more "wet" than anything. Definitely can tell a difference though.

That Z-6 looks good...probably comes off after a wash though. I bought the Z-7 Car Wash, Z-18 Claybar, Z-5, & Z-2. I will be doing mine this weekend in that order. Can't wait...Might want that Z-6 based on your results!

Yaaaa maaaaannnn!!! Make sure you post pics when you are done!! Your V is gonna look awesome!!

The tips and tricks say to apply the Z-5/Z-2 by wiping up and down on doors/fenders and front to back on trunk/hood/roof. I didn't think it'd make a diff, but it does!

I use the Z5 and Z2 on the wheels also, just a continuation of the rest of the car. Sometimes I just use some aerosol spray cleaner/polish that I use on the Harley. Honda makes the same stuff also.

Looks great...My Zaino package arrived today! I will be Claybaring my Beotch this weekend.

I've gotten lazy since moving to MI, Though I have enough zaino to apply to all the MI v owners cars, I found Jason, from Deep Gloss Auto Salon.
He actually will be outside my house tomorrow morning, getting the paint on both my V and the Suburban ready for the harsh winter.

The work he did on my V fro the Dream Cruise was just sick.
