 If you knew there were pics, why would you search? The point of the search function is (generally) to look for things you haven't found.

no way to make a cap work on these (especially on the back) paint the exposed parts with some flat black paint and it looks sharp!!

How much do stock wheels go for? I'm going to need a spare when I switch to non-runflats for winter.

Center caps wont work for rear rims, as the axle shaft and nut stick out past the hub of the wheel. Track rims shouldnt have center caps anyway, they usually make u take them out...

Anyone with some photochop skills that can show how these would look on a Silver V?
I'm thinking maybe grab a set, mount up some R1/R888's and fill with nitrogen then hit VDay III :)

what are the tire sizes that you choose to go with? i certainly dont want the wheel looking small on the car so therefore i think i need to go with a 35 series tire for the back, not sure bout the front. i want to fill the wheel well as much as i can and i will be getting the car lowered too. did you stagger?

Those are track tires so I think the aspect ratio was a bit small. You may be able to go to 275/40 18 all the way around...

:hmm: I don't think the numbers mean what you think they mean.

Even with H&R's going on after? I think it will rub. What is the generalized size tire people are going with with these rims?

For the track, 275/35/18's with the TD Wheels. Same size as the Grand-Am Continental series so there's plenty around...

What about for the street? Have 255/40 bfg kdw's right now. Id like I go as wide as I can withouth rubbing after an h and r drop.

Perhaps I misunderstood what you meant when you said you didn't want the wheels looking small on the car. Does that mean you don't want the sidewalls on the tires to be too short? Or did you mean something else?

I guess what I'm trying to say is I would like to fill the wheel well and make it look as clean and flush as possible. From what I have researched so far, it sounds like the 275/35 size is the better choice. For looks and performance.

A 275/35-18 is going to be over 1" shorter than the stock 245/45-18.

Junior1 (and myself, and others) run 275/35-18s on the TD wheels for track duty because pretty much all of the various R-compound track tires are available in that size. I think there is only 1 R-compound available in 275/40-18 (which would almost exactly match the stock diameter), the Nitto NT01.
