I own a 1990 Broughham. I had a coolant leak coming from my intakt manifold. So, I replaced the gasket and also I decided to replaced the belts and the water pump. They were orginal so I decided since I was this far along why not. So , I startes my engine the intake leak was gone but now I i a leak coming from what seems the oil seal area. It looks like its behind the water pump cover.
How do I fix this?? Can I use Bars leak to stop it for now and repair it later? I am real low on cash!!

look to make sure it not coming from lower part of the waterpump. If you have a 307 look at the t-stat and the hose that runs from the water pump to the t-stat.

i will lok at those two items. But I really think it is the lower cover plate area.
I put I bottle of Bars Leak into it and it stopped the leak to a wetness around the lower plate area ( under the harmonic balancer).
This I could live with till I get time and cash do fix the leak.
I just dont know if I should go the route of removing the timing cover or remove the oil pan???
Thanks for your input.
