looks to be some sort of insulation material

stranger things have happend under the hood. buddy just bought a brand new z71 tahoe. he's had it two weeks. goes to crank it one morning to no avail squirrels have been chewing his bumper pad and wiring under the hood.

I've taken a lot of trades in and found pads or rags stuffed under the master cylinder, usually by the owner to keep fluid from spilling when they top it off. Shops will do this as well when they service the car, so it's possible that they just forgot to take it out.

:tisk::tisk: Maybe so. But let's not go there. Prior to you Procharging your motor, I would have lined 'em up.:worship: You'll have to take it for a spin around the track with the QA1's, what a huge difference.
