I live in southern maine and and am wicked scurred...I thought you hurricane trackers would appreciate this information so you can stock up on batteries & gas ahead of the rush. :thumbsup::thepan::alchi::):eek::bigroll:

I get the disquieting feeling you guys are going to learn the meaning of "storm surge", especially since the tidal cycle in the Gulf of Maine is normally 8 to 40+ feet.

no i live 2 towns northwest of Kittery...15 minutes from Portsmouth navy shipyard. I'm inland & on high ground so I'm not worried.

It will probably hit north of Wells, Maine but if it hit Wells those folks could be in trouble. The houses along the shore there are only about 10 to 15 feet above sealevel if that.

ok, i'll add those next time.

the hurricane didn't amount to squat. it hit nova scotia mostly and all we've seen is rain. Been raining for 3 days straight.

i want to see the sun again!
