: "Cadillac" or "Fleetwood"

I was going through an automatic car wash the other day when my "Cadillac" trunk script fell off. I got it back from the car wash but I was thinking of maybe putting the "Fleetwood" script on the car instead of "Cadillac." I know it's technically a "Brougham" in 1989 but my registration, insurance card, and inspection sticker all say "Fleetwood Brougham" on them so that's what I consider it regardless of what it says over the "5.0 LITER" emblem. I can't decide on which one to put on!

OPINIONS!!!

I vote Cadillac. 1986 was technically the last year they were referred to as a Fleetwood Brougham. From 1987-92 they were just Brougham.

I know, and then it was FWD. I liked it better rear, plus I call it my "Fleetwood" anyway. I know I'm wrong but I don't care, Cadillac called it a Fleetwood again in 93 so even they realized it belonged there. I'm asking because of my desire for the car to wear the Fleetwood name that conflicts with my full stock look obsession.....

Also no one jacked the emblem, it's sitting right here on my desk. So far the "Cadillac" script seems to be winning 2-1....

Go stock, Dope. Anyway, you know it's really a Fleetwood, no matter what name games GM was playing in 89.

What year is that? It has the 80's steering wheel/interior but the trunk has that weird plateau in the middle.

It's a 78, or 79.

I like my emblems as GM intended. For instance, my deVille will never wear a wreath. It's a junior model and therefore gets the vee.

I also vote for original, it will just be a better representative of what Cadillac actually produced. It is rare to improve on the original.

It's a 1979 model.
