Cadillac Enthusiast Magazine is gathering results for a new feature exposť highlighting the 25 Greatest Luxury Cars of All Time, according the the members of Cadillac Owners & Enthusiasts Online... and we need your help!

The rules for submission are simple:

1.) Only one entry per member.

2.) In each entry, please list the top three vehicles in order, that you consider to be the greatest luxury automobiles of all time.

3.) Separate from your top three, please also include what you consider to be the greatest Cadillac of all time - please submit only one.

4.) Please include the Make, Model name, and Year(s) - Individual model years will generally be broken down according to generation, ie - A 2001 Cadillac Deville will be counted amongst and listed as the 2000-2005 Cadillac Deville.

5.) Please try to limit submissions to vehicles that were/are commercially available on the market as much as possible and not any ultra rare/special/exotic models, ie - a 1968 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is acceptable, opposed to a 1932 Bugatti Type 41 "Royale," etc.

Submissions will be accepted until October 31, 2008.

If possible, please try to refrain from extraneous debate as we're just trying to gather as many submissions as possible before the cut-off.

Results will be compiled and featured on the Cadillac Enthusiast Magazine Website sometime in November.

Thanks for participating in this survey!

Wait, there is a Cadillac Enthusiast Magazine? Is that the one that you get for being a member of the National Cadillac/LaSalle club or is it separate from that one?

Sandy, I think you're confused. The A8L W12 is not a Lamborghini motor, it's a whole new motor. The S8 shares the Gallardo's V-10 though.

The Audi salesman told me that the W-12 in the A8 was designed by Lamborghini. All I know. It looked like it was, too.
Why does the A8 have options that no other cars have? Prices in the upper atmosphere, but...they are there for those that can pay. An amazing automobile. The day after I win the lottery, my order will go in and then I am off in search of a 1975 FLWD Talisman

Sandy... I know it can be fairly difficult, but there won't be a differentiation between imports and domestics, so if you could consolidate those into your top 3 of all time that would be great... else it'll be difficult to include your submission into the results. Also, try to include your all-time favorite Cadillac separately if you can.

Thanks!

Oh... and that salesman doesn't know what he's talking about. Lamborghini had nothing to do with Audi's W12 engine. That engine was all Volkswagen and is basically just two VW VR6 engines fused together...

But like Chad said... the 5.2L V10 used in the Audi S8 is a modified version of the 5.2L used in the Lamborghini Gallardo. But that's they're only similar connection and it isn't used in the A8 model.

He may have been confusing Lamborghini with Bentley, which is also under the VW umbrella. The W12 is also used in the Bentley Continental series.
