Top Gear test ZR1, CTS-V, and Challenger SRT8. (http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/09/19/uk-top-gear-in-the-us-to-test-drive-the-corvette-zr1-challenger-srt8-cts-v/)

Seems like an American Muscle episode of some sorts so probably no actual review of each car by Clarkson, but atleast we will get to hear his initial take and attempts at knocking it while May defends it. Seems that Clarkson will be in the ZR1, so that will be interesting also. Can't WAIT!!!

But if one remembers the episode where they tested the new M3, C63, and the existing audi, each started off in a car then they all switched.

Good Point. Hopefully that happens here. May always gets the most civilized car though. None of these are really truely civilized cars, so it makes sense May gets the CTS-V as it is for sure the most fitting of the three. Hopefully they do switch though. Very curious what the plot of this will end up being?

I gotta think about watching this show some day. Seems to have a lot of fans on this forum. What's the attraction?

I gotta think about watching this show some day. Seems to have a lot of fans on this forum. What's the attraction?Fantastic scenery with spectacular cars and great videography. Plus all cars get tested on their own track with the Stig, a talented driver. Theres alot of 'commentary' on America/ns, so the show can get old from time to time. But then you realize they bash the aussies, french, and germans just as much. So, really its any country still making cars I suppose... They can be funny too if you can take a joke...

the biggest thing tho is the fantastic scenery with the best cars in the world and quality filming.

It's a solid production. I enjoy the cinematography and production quality. As well as the content, they are pretty opinionated, and they will not pull punches in criticism... Mainly because the BBC does not have to rely on advertising money from a potentially disgruntled car manufacturer who might get pissed and refuse to buy advertising on their network. They generally do tell it like it is, with some obvious bias towards anything British of course.

James may got the V :(
Based on this report in the first post Hammond has the V2

"Obviously Clarkson grabbed the ZR1, Hammond got the keys to the CTS-V, and of course James May gets the outgunned Challenger SRT8. "
