Last weekend my wife & I spent a few days at Cape May. My back was acting up so she did the driving from Albany NY and I played car spotter. With all the bad jokes about NJ, I gotta say there's a lot of money floating around that state. Looks like the state car is top of the line Mercedes. Also saw a ton of Cadillacs and even spotted two Farrari's. Think I even saw a Bentley but not sure. I'm from upstate NY where Honda or Toyota would be the norm.
I also did a lot of Nissan spotting. Gotta say those new Nissans are really sharp from the van to the little sports car. I think they deserve the Innovative Design Award of the decade (along with Cadillac of course).

Personally, I like the...Black...Nissan Maxima...1990...the best. Only becauase of Menace II Society. Yea, Milwaukee only has Caddies out of your list.

I live in NJ. In the past week I have seen 2 Bentleys. An AZURE convertible in black with black cloth top & "pumpkin interior" that may sound nasty, but was drop dead georgious!! The other Bentley was deep emerald green sedan with ivory leather piped in dark green (both were 2002 or 2003). Also saw a Bentley Park Ward Continential T by Mulliner coachworks, in black with deep red interior. This a a Bentley Coupe with a T Top and custom body work. I have yet to see the new Rolls Royce.....
Caddys, Lincolns abound as do all models M-B, BMW, AUDI, Saab, Volvo & Porsche.
Yes, there is ALOT of money here, and many many many areas of 3 to 4 million dollar homes, golf courses that cost $25,000 a year to belong to and Apartments that rent for $4,500 @ month.

I am not in that league....far from it, but I have a couple of friends that are. One of them, lives in a 3 mil home & has 2 Mercedes Sport Utes & a Porsche Turbo Carrera S Cabriolet.
He owns a boat, too. Dr ? Lawyer ? NO ! He owns multiple PORN lines located (off shore) flying under radar !

Jersey may have some nice cars, but their drivers are clueless. I think the term "friggin Jersey driver" is muttered 500,000 times a day in New York City.

Boy, you got that right! Never heard my wife really swear til this past weekend. She couldn't believe the cars cutting in and out on the Garden State. I couldn't believe that I would pass a car going 40mph then find the same car going 70mph to pass me, then slow down when he got in front of me. What the Hell is with these people.

They're all relocated NY drivers.

Call me the poor, dumb-ass Canuck but what the hell is a porn-line and where can I get one? :hmm:

Oh, you mean like a 1-900 number. I'm too tired, and when you said "under radar" it threw me. :bonkers:

There is definately more money in the U.S. And more opportunity IMO. A friend of ours is a nurse, and she worked in some States.(pays good down there) However, she likes to point out that there is so much money there, yet 40 million people homeless?! Thats 10 million more than the population of Canada! What gives? She also mentioned that there are supposedly homeless people not 4 blocks from the Whitehouse? :bighead:

4 blocks?? try across the street.

40 million are homeless for the same reason there will never be zero unemployment. it's not possible. some people don't help themselves. i would say the biggest cause is drugs. i would guess the number of hardworking people living on the streets in a box are very very slim.

1-800 /1-888 / 1-900 Lines where the caller calls up to get sexually stimulated via "dirty-talk", wherein their goal is to keep you on the line as long as possible. Big bunch of sickOs calling daily! Makes incredable money. Off shore lines fly under United States Laws and are non-regulated for call length = price. The women talking have great voices. Most are ugly, overweight, over 60 years old, and they guys calling would not give them a 2nd look on the street. They get paid under American minimum wages per hour, and the entire business makes millions! (with an "S").

that's one of those things that morally you don't want to really do, but at the same time, you wouldn't mind the 'easy' money :)

Best part is that he & the wife tell anyone (neighbors, etc) that ask, that he's a computer engineer with Extran International, a paper pulp processing company in Phila., Pa. No such company exists. He is very highly regarded in the community :D :D

It's very easy to fool folks. I didn't wanna tell people that I saw outside of the dealership that I was a car salesman, because I didn't need to hear the story of every car they ever bought, that they all feel compelled to tell me, so I had some fake business cards made up that read:

INDEPENDANT TRANSPORTATION CONSULTANT TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR,

and they'd look at it and say, "Oh, that's interesting" ~ {{ no clue }}

I'm surprised at my own city. NM is one of the poorest states in the US, and I've seen about 6-7 vipers, a Countach (sp), a Bentley, and a Rolls Royce.

all those cadillacs where in NJ because of the MOB!

Sandy

Most of the MOB these days drive cars with dealer plates, as they own somethig like 60% of all the dealerships, especially the foreign brands !
