I like to listen to recorded books & music on my MP3 player/IPOD.

Any way to plug my IPOD into my 2006 STS radio with Nav??

Thanks
garyt

I guess it's too late now since you already ordered one, but they sell a very nice cable for this at Radio Shack for just a few dollars.

How can you set the tone controls ONCE! whenever I change the channel or press one of the presets the tone settings go to flat response and driver speaker setting's, I have set the tone and stored the settings. What is that autopilot option for? I may be missing a book on the NAV that describes this. Any help most appreciated!

Re - setting the tone controls just once. That's a feature, not a bug. :) Basically, you can set each of your presets differently. This does actually come in handy -- talk can have the "talk" setting, dance music can have the surround (Center Point) setting, and other music can have the "regular" (normal) setting.

I think he is saying that he wants to set his preferances once and be done with it. But that the radio is not recalling those settings. Actually, I have not looked into my manual yet but have noticed that the settings are not saved in my 05 also.
