Hi all. I have a 2008 Caddy, built 11/07, with 12k miles on an LLT motor (DI version of the VVT 3.6). check engine light came on, detecting misfires. long story short, they are replacing the crankshaft due to a problem with the pressed-on reluctor ring. service writer indicated this is known but it sounds like it is rare. is anyone familiar with this problem, seen any TSBs, etc?
just curious, thanks.

I found PIP3423 covering this issue with the 3.6L LY7 motor, dated May 2005. now it's PIP3423B with the LLT DI added.
