Can someone please tell me what the color of the LED lights on the dash are supposed to be when you change gears?

On the 2006 DTS that I had the LED lights changed from "red" to "green" when the gear selector was shifted to "D", "3", and so on.

On the 2008 DTS that I now have the LED lights are red, no matter which gear you are in.

So, I know that this is a stupid question, but its driving me nuts. What color should the LED lights on the 2008's be....stay red, or change to green?

I have experienced the same thing. My 2006 has green LEDs for Reverse, Drive, 3, 2, 1 and red for the others. The 2008 models that I have rented have all red LEDs. I assumed it was a minor proudction change in the 2008 model in order to reduce complexity and cost.

Same here. My '06 had the green indicators, but my '08 is all red.

Lanzz, forget reducing complexity its all about reducing cost.
