Check out the lastest R&T - two of the best in the business (Heinricy and Auberlen) got head to head in the cars. The Vs best time beat the M5 by only .5 of a second.

An excellent showing for both cars, IMO. I predicted worse for the V but it turns out it's only 150lbs heavier than the M5.

Great article.

I'm sure track times could improve, good read.

I thought the new V was going to "blow the doors off of the M5"

with a 50hp advantage, and being heavier I don't think it would blow the doors off, I should win respectively.

Huh? It should be the other way around. The M5 has been around for a few years now and when it was made the new CTS-V wasn't even a thought in anybody's mind. So for Cadillac to go out of their way to claim that the CTS-V was going to blow the doors off of the M5 and just barely beat it should go to show as to how good of a car the M5 is. Once the new M5 comes out it's going trounce on the new CTS-V

On Bimmerforums it's an appreciation for both.

Any idea why I can't post in the kills section?

Cause they shut it down. You can view it but you can't post or start a new thread
