They turned the heads around to have the exhaust ports on top, intakes on the sides fed by twin superchargers, mated to a Porsche transaxle.

A fairly popular mod for flathead Ford V8s was a reverse grind camshaft that allowed the old exhaust ports to be used for intakes and vice versa. With the Ford this was done to faclitate cooling.

When they complete the leveling and buffing of the WEST System epoxy finish that car will look like highly polished glass laid over wood.
