Martin. CTSV OWNER 08-22-08, 12:00 PM very nice bro RightTurn 08-22-08, 12:09 PM Gorgeous car. Thanks for sharing. I~LUV~Caddys8792 08-22-08, 01:11 PM I love your car. VERY nice car. But am I the only one who sees what looks like over-sharpening artifacts possibly caused by a program with a bad resize algorithm? codewize 08-22-08, 03:10 PM Yeah there's something funky there with the images. But who cares. I want the car. You're speaking in tongues when it comers to the re-sizing technicalities. The pics are 25% of the full 10.1 Mp. The program is PhotoImpression4, software that I've had for years. It's relatively unsophisticated compared to Photo-Shop for instance. Some of the pics have around a 15% sharpening level according to the program.
Martin. pompste 08-22-08, 05:15 PM Absolutely gorgeous Caddy! WOW. I think it's definitely that program. It's called aliasing, but I suppose wicked sharpening could also cause it. Are there different settings for the resize algorithm? Maybe try no sharpening? I don't mean to pick but it really distracts from the fine, fine automobile. hyperboimmv 08-22-08, 08:08 PM check out getpaint.net, its a free powerful image editing program.
I wished I had a black on black brougham. Nice Car! codewize 08-22-08, 10:21 PM 2 things come to mind. If you're looking for an extremely simple light editing, cropping and resizing program, do yourself a favor and get VuePrint from Hamrick software http://www.hamrick.com/upg.html . It's almost too easy to use.
If you need to do batch processing then I suggest Image Genius. This program is so amazing I wrote an article about it. Aron9000 08-23-08, 01:14 PM Looking good:cool2:, my 91 is the exact same color combo. Not sure if I like the shaved Brougham script on the rear fenders though. urbanski 08-23-08, 02:49 PM she's perfect 93DevilleUSMC 08-24-08, 01:37 AM Perfect car as usual, Martin! Warren_R 08-24-08, 01:46 AM She's a stunner for sure! The aliasing didn't really bother me any :) theGman 08-24-08, 09:32 PM And I thought it was my eyes.....beautiful car! gfxdave99 08-24-08, 10:47 PM Please resize with a program that doesnt suck I want to use those as a wallpaper

Very nice... This thread's sort of drifting off-subject, yet it's not. There's much to learn about presenting our cars to others to their best advantage.
gfxdave99, that program is awesome! It only slightly sucks IMO because the max size it allows you to resize to is 800 pixels on the long side whereas I normally downsize to 912. Anyhoo....here's the results plus some other recent pics I've posted re-edited from the original out the camera pic.......

I like that program because it's dead simple to use and quick. Using someone else's big server is way faster than my low RAM 'puter. The difference in coachlines, grille, etc is remarkable.
Martin. Another re-edit.
I took this picture early October '07, the day after I bought the car. I spent 5 hours cleaning it before the picture was taken.
