Hey guys.

I'm not mechanically inclined by any means other than knowing how to change oil, coolant, trans fluid, etc. But i took some time the other day to get familiar with my beloved l05. After tightening some loose things here and there, I make my way to the back of the engine when i spot a spark plug jammed up a small vacuum hose. I followed the hose and it lead me to a small module just to the right of the dist. I tried taking the best pic with my camera phone. Hopefully you guys can figure out what i'm looking at exactly. The first pic shows where the vacuum line lead to. The second pic references where that is on the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even guesses!

What is the 8th digit of the VIN?
I assume this is on the vehicle listed under your name, the '93 Fleetwood?

That is about where the EGR vacuum control solenoid is on the B-body L03/L05. Does it have two lines coming out of it, one going to the EGR valve?

Yes. Where does the other line go?
