...aside from the combination of the names "Fleetwood" and "Eldorado", possibly two of the coolest words in any known human language... take a look at this gas pedal...

It's angled! I don't know if this was common in the 60's, or if it was just a short-lived thing, but seeing as how most people always put their foot on the accelerator at an angle, why isn't the pedal itself angled? In every vehicle I've driven, the pedal is always straight up and down.

I've half a mind to buy this car just to see how nice that feels...

the 68 mustang i just cut up had an angled pedal. my 71 datsun 510 had an angled pedal. the one thing i noticed about an angled pedal is it's harder to heel-toe with a manual, but that isn't an issue in a cadillac. someone probably thought it hurt peoples ankles or something

It so happens that the pedal in my dodge ram astrovan is actually slanted as well. It's pretty comfortable, and they should definitely have it in more vehicles.
