It happens all the time.. Our server admin has it setup where in the event something out of the ordinary is happening, him and I are informed wirelessly. Up to this point, he's been online within a couple of minutes with every attack.

So that's what happened. Why would someone want to hack this site? Just to say they did it?

...one reason would be to obtain nearly 80,000 email addresses..... Another would be to broadcast a message to millions of people by changing the front page or forum front page...

hackers make money by how many spam emails they get or if they hack a site :annoyed:
