88caddybrougham

I have a 1988 Brougham that I cannot for the life of me get the air to blow out of the proper vents. The only air I get comes out down at the floor vents.
I thought I had it fixed, but it seems it only was a temporary fix, car must be a female. I found a bad vacuum line, replaced it and the vents worked for about 3 hours, then stopped again. I checked the new line and it was fine.
I have read as much as I can about digital climate control modules, but I need a bit more info.
Can I test this module somehow? I assume that this would not be hard to replace, just remove the trim and unsrew/unplug the unit and replace.
Where can I find a vacuum diagram?
Any other help is appreciated. Thanks a heap.
