Hi
Couldnt find any where else to post this...
Can someone please explain to my why companies still use the word "Overdrive", now when the started the whole point was the gearbox turned more than once out than the input shaft, considering the gearbox used on the Escalade has 6 gears and 2 of them are "over drives" i really cant see the selling point.
So why do companies still insists on using the "has overdrive" as a marketing tool, in theroy it has "2 overdirves" as 2 gears are over driven from the input shaft.
Now this is as bad as "has internal combustion engine", well gezz we had that years like over drive...............
Many Thanks
