BTW Your bike is leaned over pretty good, but your body is straight up. You need to lean your body first, and just shift your a$$ over, into the turn. The bike will want to go around much easier.

Sometimes I will run Slash cuts to fool everyone. The Sportbikers freak out when they hear it and then see its not a HD and the HD guys give thumbs up for a crotch rocket that sounds like a HD.

hey twitch, sick ass 750!! yea i know my body position isnt right. i have tried what you are talking about but i dont like how that feels. we were just cruisin that day anyway, had no gear but gloves and jacket. just wanted to go out and enjoy the scenary.

I have been riding since the late 80's... sorry I don't remember the specific year. I think it was '88?
At any rate I had an old FZ600, then an FZR, now I have my R6.

Sweet bike - I've got a 2000 Tiller myself. Great bike. Don't ride it that much since I got the V, but still keep it around for going into Boston and such - can't beat parking & going through traffic on a bike!

No pics unfortunately... :-( But it's yellow and black! :-)

I took pics of my first bike on film, I don't have any electronic photos yet....
Here are some images I snagged off the web.
It was actually a pretty butt ugly bike.
I have a copy of a magazine for the year it came out and it was voted "The best handling bike you can buy" for 1986. It did handle great for the era, but not nearly as well as most modern bikes.
My favorite thing was that it was so narrow. Sadly the fairings kept flying off while I was going down the highway, probably why you don't see many today with all the fairings intact. I bought several Lockhart fairings and modded them up to make it look good. I put 27,000 miles on it then sold it for almost as much as I paid for it. Once I had a valve stick open, cost me almost $200 to get it fixed. Had a frozen chain link on it for as long as I owned it and the forks were never right even though I replaced all the bearings, the steering head clunked pretty bad over bumps. Ahhhh youth....

I tore mine all down and had the frame painted Chevy Fire red, then painted the body panels a mixture between a grey and metal flaked silver. It looked pretty good until I had the seat redone with a horrible blue color.
Even the blue windscreen didn't look that bad, but I learned the hard way you can't see red light through a blue lens :lol:
I was wondering why everyone on the highway was slowing down so fast, when I popped my head up I saw brake lights everywhere!
