I~LUV~Caddys8792 08-09-08, 12:07 PM Whhaaaaaaaaaaaat? Noooo! He was great! RIP! sterling 08-09-08, 01:35 PM This really sucks. He was a good guy Sandy 08-09-08, 01:48 PM I read it this AM. It really upset me. I mean...he was only 50. I am 61. I have been dealing with Cancer. It's now in remission. It can come back. Often it does. My numbers are perfect, to those who know what that means. I feel fine. I look great. Everyone tells me that. I lost 63 pounds and am now 198. Dr says I have a lot of years left...... then, we read something like this, and you realize that tomorrow it might be______ ! Bernie will be remembered for all the smiles he gave us. May he RIP and be fondly remembered by many. Brizzal 08-09-08, 02:11 PM He was awesome! I used to watch the Bernie Mac show every night and laugh my ass off. He was a man that you just had to laugh at. He knew how to flip your switch! He was in control. He was famous! Why does God take the good ones early? Bernie Mac… Get your wings and show them angles Howwwww! Yeeeea, HoWWWWWWWWWWW! dkozloski 08-09-08, 10:52 PM Everybody is familiar with the stuff like cancer, heart disease, drugs, AIDS and the other common causes of death but pneumonia still claims a lot of people. It's called the old peoples friend for a good reason. It gets about 60,000 people every year. Jesda 08-09-08, 11:23 PM Great comedian and actor gone. So sad. :( AlBundy 08-10-08, 01:01 AM Everybody is familiar with the stuff like cancer, heart disease, drugs, AIDS and the other common causes of death but pneumonia still claims a lot of people. Pneumonia, why is it I was waiting for your responce?:crybaby: dkozloski 08-10-08, 01:40 AM Pneumonia, why is it I was waiting for your responce?:crybaby: Maybe because that's what he died of. Red_October_7000 08-10-08, 04:40 AM Y'know, Let's not all get shaken up. We're no more mortal than we were two days ago. I've always maintained that I could step outside any day and be stricken by a bus. It's that simple. My grandparents lived into their 80s and 90s, my grandmother was nearing 100 when the kicked off and she died with her faculties intact. That said there was cancer in my family. Oh well, what hell? I've always liked the bit from "The Notebooks of Lazarus Long": "There is no conclusive evidence of life after death. But there is no evidence of any sort against it. Soon enough you will know. So why fret about it?" JimmyH 08-10-08, 05:16 PM Wow, I had no idea he had an illness. Too bad. He was funny. eyekandyboats.inc 08-10-08, 05:31 PM Bernie was awesome. he was a great actor and comedian. kinda shocking to the world that he is gone. he will be missed for sure AlBundy 08-17-08, 02:20 AM The Macmans funeral was today.
