Heated seats and vinyl top, just like a Brougham...but....cloth!! Weird. Never seen this before. I know it was technically available but...

I think those are more common on 1980-92 RWD models

They were less common in the latter years of the Fleetwoods/Broughams. Dealers just ordered more leather cars as leather became the norm. The elderly crowd bought up the cloth cars more-or-less, and their demand fell over time, kinda like the Fleetwood did altogether.
And because this is rare, it is coveted by a few cloth fans. We usually see them pop up here as a result of their rarity. Good find!
Once, I saw a '92 Eldorado with the column shifter (pretty uncommon, but not rare) and cloth seats. I have never seen another Eldo like it. But it's kinda weird seeing a cadillac in that type of cloth. Not that a Cadillac looks bad in cloth, but the cloth is hard and not plush.. unlike the "crushed velour" of the 70s/early 80s. Now I'd like to see a '96 with that!

The cloth in my '92 deVille was super velvety, soft and plush. I would take that stuff over leather any day of the week, aside from the leather used in the current Cadillacs.

Leather is the best upholstery option and just indispensible to the class of the FWBs
I heard somewhere that 96s may have gotten better leather. Is there any truth to this? The leather in my 95 is kinda smooth and glossy, which to me means cheaper feeling.

cloth is a good choice for florida cars, leather burns the back of your legs on real hot days

I believe Fleetwoods used "premium" leather at least according to the 95 brochure I had, if I remember right.

I have noticed that black color leather seems more durable over other colors in regards to discoloration or fading off
The leather in our 93 Brougham seems better than any leather you can buy in a new car today. Especially that perforated stuff that most cars seem to come with now.

I just found a 95 for sale with cloth seats... has been one of my only dilema's about purchasing the vehicle. I really like the leather and have been thinking about re-doing my current 95 seats in the older "pillow" style pattern so the cloth may not be around for a while if I decide to go ahead and buy the Cadillac :eyebrow:
