: new rear diff for me...

well today i left my V at the dealer for a oil change and a few other small warranty issues (nav unit, arm rest). just got a call from my service writer and now im getting a new rear diff and motor mounts as well... had the diff in stock and she will be ready in the AM.

Very Nice... Should feel like a new car again! I think my Car needs new MM but whenever I ask my dealer to check em he just says "there fine". I guess I'll just have to get some UUC Poly Mounts, and call it a day.

yea i guess if shits gonna break better to do it under warranty huh? its pretty cool that they took the time to look over the rest of the car and give me a heads up..

If you have plans on keeping the car, you might buy the UUC MM's and see if they'll put those in instead. Maybe you pay for mounts, they pay for labor. If you don't the factory Mounts are just gonna break again.

my advisor said the next time it happends i can bring him some after market mounts and they will install them.. anyways car feels like a new machine

I have the UUC mounts. They come in a kit with the trans mount. Very strong... Very good but more vibration in the cabin. It's nothing I can't live with but be informed if you want your glide ride to stay nice and cushy. I think if you really need these mounts you want something other than Uncle Chester's caddy anyway. :-)
