Where can I find some cheap wheels to run with my newly acquired drag radials? No Hre's or anything just for the strip.

The tires are 275/35/18. Also do I need spacers or would that depend on the wheel?

I ran 275/35/18 Goodyear GS-D3's on the rear with stock rims and had no issues with them. Went to 9.5 wide HRE's to run the 285/35/18 Nitto drag radials that I have on now

Luke at Lindsay had some track wheels for sale ... probably cheapest route to go.

Don't know if he's got any left, though.

Actually, You can see it on gmhightechperformance.com magazine site , was featured in August issue ( Article called "flying V" )

"Haven't figured out this imac computer yet, Can't make the link work"

And yes I am getting some rubbing on the fenders sometimes with the 285's and the 9-1/2" wide hre wheels/

have 255/40/18 on front and they are Soooo close, you couldn't go any wider than the 255's on front

Im running BFG 275/40/18s all the way around with no rub.

The BFG must be narrower than the Goodyear Gs-D3's, there is no way any wider than the 255's would work on mine, like 1/8" clearance inside on the upper control arm

I would not run 275 on the stock rim

Ive been running them for 8 months with zero problem. When I had the wheels off for my rotor and pad change I inspected the inside of every tire and not a sign of rub anywhere. When the car is jacked up and the suspension is fully extended the top of the tire is very close to the control arm but when compressed with the weight of the car on it, it isnt close. I had the car up on a drive on lift yesterday looking at the diff and tranny and I checked the tires again and there was nothing.

I also run the tires at about 36-37 lbs cold to insure that the side walls stay up and to prevent cupping as was recommended by my installer. That also keeps them from hitting 42 lbs under normal driving and setting off the bongs. The tires themselves are rated to 50 lbs.

With the BFGs I prefer the KDWs but got the all season SS g-Force for last winter and just never switched since I couldnt find the winter rims I wanted.
