Which interior looks like a $50,000 car? Two know what to do and one is completely and utterly lost.

I am sorry but i dont see the anymore plastic In the Cadillac than the other cars have. I think it looks fine that wood also looks really good. I bet you the STS picture would look just as good as the others if it had better lighting and a black interior. Of course still i would have liked to see some polished metal in Cadi and the guages are not as impressive as the Acuras. Also, the leather in the Acura doesnt look to good, kinda pleathery.

I really like the new STS, and the STS is only a 40,000 dollar car

Only the black HVAC/Stereo faceplate and the aluminum STS logo looks cheap in the STS.
The interior actually reminds me of a older Lexus LS 400.
Especially the door handles, etc.
The Infiniti looks like a freak in white leahter accents.

Who puts near white leather in their vehicles? That is so Eddie Murphy in the 80's (Beverly Hills Cop era). I love the STS. You'd be surprise to know that the wood is real and it comes in two colors.

The STS's wood is a eucalyptus imported from Spain. Then it has tuscany leather and milan carpet. Yeah i agree on that white and black color combo.

The wood is real but is probably 1mm thick.

The STS's actually looks like it is a high-dollar, high class car im not sure what your beef is lol. Maybe its only crime is not enough wood. Then again Cadillacs never put enough wood trim in any of their cars. You have to assume that it will follow the quallity from the CTS too.. keep that in mind.

I dont like the infiniti's but i do love the Acura's.
If i were to pick one off the batt i would say the Acura has the lead because the way the wood wings out and wraps the interior... Mmmm.

Regardless of materials, a big seller for me is a four spoke steering wheel because I drive with my left hand at 6 o'clock!!

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:I absolutely agree. And why did they feel the need to use the old tired 3 spoke steering wheel in this car? The design of the wheel itself isn't exactly the best in the world. The dashboard quickly reminded me of my grandfather's '82 Oldsmobile Delta. It's so plain and basic looking, especially in this color. Are you guys sure this is the STS interior?

I think I'll just wait until they make they're customary changes after 2-3 years.....

the dash above the wood on the passenger side looks VERY plain in the new STS.

The Infiniti interior doesn't look good to me. I just don't like that kind of look. It's a hard pick between the Acura and the Cadillac.. I'd like to see the STS interior in black...

The Acura is my first choice follow by the Infiniti in a less polarizing color combo'. The STS is definitely my last choice. It just doesn't look expensive. The center stack is positively cheap looking and the whole package is spartan and uninspired. Other than that I love it. :annoyed:

I know the Acura TL has some strategically placed lights overhead that are projected onto the console that give it a real nice glowing effect. I'm sure the RL has a similar treatment too.

i like the acura the best, followed by the STS, the infiniti looks good on the outside but i HATE the way its set up...looks like a freakin minivan.

No matter what make, model from GM (starting after the 70's) EVERY interior on any car has been bland... Cadillacs a vast improvement... just be thankful lol.

why is the Infiniti driver seat cut out on the side for buttons(?) ANYWAYS! it looks like the 05 RL and 06 M45 are gonna be some tough competition for the STS with their $50K interiors as you may say. but i say the STS looks like $50,000 car on the OUTSIDE! search on google for some exterior pics of the STS counterparts. decide for yourself...

Wow i never thought about the new steering wheel on the sts, and how it is 3 spoke. I drive our 00 STS at 6 oclock alot. But i guess i can move my hand an inch for the new 05.

STS interior looks classic and acura interior is nice but it reminds me of civic which is the car i had to drive to college dreaming of cadillacs so u know what i will choose

The STS interior looks much better in person... From the pictures I think the STS and Acura look good but the Infiniti...LMAO!!! that is the ugliest interior I've ever seen. Talk about cheap and ugly that's even worse than their FX line of SUV's.

I think we forgot the Audi interior which is probably as good as the Acura. Oh and here is your 4 spoke steering wheel. My question about the STS interior is where did the dashboard that cradeled you go like the one in the current production model? They just didnt make the dash good enough. Doors look good, I bet the STS wont sell.

Audi a great job with thier interior. That's how an interior of today's car should look like. Some just might call the interior of the STS classic, but to me, classic should stay with a classic car from yesterday's era. IMO, be creative. They didn't do that here. Infiniti, Acura and Audi get good marks for creativity in my book.

Im a big fan of Audi and VW interiors, but among these three brands, I prefer Cadillac for layout and configuration, Infiniti for pizazz, and Acura for those slick red white and blue gauges.

I guess in the end I'd be torn between Cadillac and Infiniti.

Jaguars, to me, feel the most warm and inviting. The original Q45 was a rip of Jaguar's body and interior, and thats exactly how I like it.

It would be awesome to get aftermarket gauges that looked like that Aston-Martin.

Cadillac designed their new wheels and controls to encourage drivers to hold it properly and comfortably (honestly. That's what GM said in the details book that was sent out before the CTS release). The CTS control stalks are angled for a proper driving position too. Remember, these cars were built to be driven in a fashion that demands you keep your hands where they should be. :lildevil:

Look at the new BMWs and you will see that they have a very similar design.
