There's a long story to the purchase of this car, but to be brief it was offered to my wife years ago by a multi-millionaire for $3000. I think the guy invented the coffee filter, not too sure if it was him or his neighbor though. Anyway we bought it and though nothing of it.

Here we are so many years later and I've found myself searching for years to get OEM or as close to OEM parts so I can get a restoration completed.

We had the interior upholstery completely redone from the original white to a red, but I'm looking at another re-do because the original astroroof pan took a dump, started rusting out and is one of those hard to find OEM parts. If one can't be found, I may just close it up with a stainless top.

Well here are a few pic's as she sits right now awaiting the next few parts. Looks are on the back burner right now so I can focus on mechanical problems such as the gearing and tranny issues.

I'm always looking for parts I need when I have the cash, so if ya got a lead for me, drop me a line:cool:

Looks like a great project! I'm not sure how these small Caddys are with gas - but I'm guessing they're not too bad.. And being that cars are becoming small again - this really going to look "right" on the road in a few years. Good luck!

She's on the road now, so if your in The Broward/Boca area and see me wave..ha ha

Right now she's averaging about 17mpg and that's with a bad exhaust pipe and other small issues. I had to cut the exhaust pipe then temporarily patch it up so I could change the oil pan gasket. That was a project in itself.
