: XM Radio installation

Here's a few pic's of my XM radio mounted in the ashtray(?) thingy.
I bought a hinge at Home Depot and bent it slightly to make it stiff. It folds away completely when not in use. It connects to one of those ipod interfaces which ties into the cd changer connector.

Just thought I'd share...

very clean
but you realize you could upgrade your stock radio to a 02+ unit and then get the terk xm interface and youd be able to have factory XM and control it directly through your hu?

need to have the terk unit
and simply splicing it into the harness will cause XM to appear no unlocking required
