: Another Newbie

Just joined the big boys club today. Bought an 05 V, 13,800 miles with the FG2 package. It is a total blast to drive, and I love it. I drove two today, one with the FG2s, and one with the FE4, and I did notice a tighter ride on the FG2 package. Good thing is that you really don't lose much comfort wise. Still rides kinda like a Cadillac.
Good to be with you boys.

Welcome. Now here is the question that matters. Did you buy the platinum (fastest) or Black (The not as fast as Platinum yet prettier with high maint. tendencies involving ocean sponges and two bucket wash system) color?

Bought the platinum. I am pretty lucky that my car is in a garage at work and at home, so hopefully the maintainence will be minimal. It is fast, and I owe it all to the color. I'll post pictures later.

She is stock with the exception of the previous owner put a polished aluminum shock tower brace on it, but I am sure after a few payments, I will be venturing into "Mod Hell".
She stays in the eastern Dallas Texas area, (Forney, TX. to be exact). Hopefully someone has a get together sometime. Would be fun to get together with some fellow "V" owners.
And my apologies Rightturn, as I know there are a few of the fairer sex in here. Boys is just my way of addressing everyone here.
Thanks for the welcome, and many happy returns to all.

Welcome! You are going to love the V. I thought it would be a secondary car to my pickup but I just hate not driving it. Supporting member?
Good luck with it.
