I'm going to be swapping in some FG2s soon and wanted to know if a standard spring compressor can be used to swap the springs on the front. I haven't gotten a close look at the front suspension yet so I wasn't sure if a special compressor is needed or not.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!I did my FG2s after my GC install, and the Eibachs don't need to be compressed to do it.

However, when I did the GC install, I did need a spring compresser to compress the stock GM/OEM springs. Rented it at AutoZone. I believe it was just a standard one ... I'd never done it before.

Be careful, and you'll do just fine.

Yeah, a set of standard suicide clamps'll work just fine.
