Looking at the air compressor powered one man brake bleeder in Griot's catalog. Wondering if anyone here has experience using this product? Looks like it would make the process very easy, well at least as relatively easy as possible with our brakes. Don't get me started on how hard it was to change the pads to Hawks. Well worth the time and few choice words echoing out of my garage though. Two weeks and still no dust to speak of, thanks Luke.

Hard to change pads?

Anyway, I bought the brake bleeder. But I haven't used it yet...

Hard to change pads?

I'll seecond that. I change them at the track all the time. Couldn;t be more simple, 5 minute job max.

You may want to consider a Motive Bleeder.

Stupid question, but.... Which bleeder for the V? The "late model GM/ford"?

I'm almost positive that's the one I got.

A word of advice, just use the power bleeder to presurize the system. Top off the resevoir between bleeds. If you fill it with fluid when you go to take it off, you will spill a bunch of fluid. Brake fluid + paint = :thepan:

Is there an easier set of pads to change than the V?

I have also considered the Griots bleeder but have yet to pull the trigger.
