: Worse insult ever to a V owner

Driving home last night I saw a desecration of monumental proportions.

I drove up behind an all blacked out black Honda Fit. It had been de-badged. Well, to be clear... it had been de-badged of all the badges it was supposed to have.

As I pulled up behind this odd looking car, I saw something oddly familiar and yet completely out of place. My eyes widened as my brain struggled to process what it knew should never be. My hands tightened on the wheel, and for a moment, my heart paused its beat in my chest.

This Honda Fit wore one badge. The one badge that was born to rule them all. Our hallowed "V" badge.

Quite truthfully, I remember little of the rest of the ride home. It was a blur. But, I do know now that the lower limits of humanity are clearly still left to be explored.

It was a sad day.

Great post, I laughed out loud.

I absolutely agree...why the hell do people want to put badges on their vehicle that have nothing to do with the (most likey) piece of shit they drive. Man I get upset when I see people doing ridiculous stuff like this.

Does that mean I should take the AMG badge off of my girlfriend's Aztek? :histeric:

I hate that crap.
When i had my lightning, I saw a V6 f150 with lightning wheels, body kit complete with badging. I immediately asked him if he wanted to run em. You should have scene the look on his face. He was speechless. So as I left the O'Reilly parking lot, i got it sideways just to drive the point home. I hate posers.

You could get away with that. Aztek Motoring Group = AMG :D

Should've asked him if he wanted to run a real V.

And laughed.

And videotaped his reaction.

Then kicked him in the balls.

My faith in America was shaken a couple weeks ago.

I live in a small South GA city. Pulled the V up to the local Napa store (a traditional bastion for Amercian gearheads down here) for some parts. Middle aged mechanic is walking out as I'm goin in. He remarks, "That's a great lookin' car. What is it, a Camry?".

(after I pulled my jaw back up off the ground in awe of the naivete) I'd never met this guy before and I was still smiling from the initial "nice car" comment so that's probably the only reason I got away with doing this to a complete stranger, but I grabbed him by the elbow and basically forced him to walk from the front to the back of the V so he could see how far off he was and rub it in as hard (nose into Cadillac emblem hard) as possible.

He'll never make the same mistake again. (actully turned out to be a nice guy)

Why walk him from front to back? The shield on the grill is bigger.
