I was just browsing the web and saw a few more recent pics of the new Camaro. Wow..... WOW! I've always had a soft spot for the F-body but was curious if anyone here is planning on purchasing one when they do come to market? I'm definitely thinking about it...

i loved the way the new camaro looked in all the magazines and articles that i have read on it, but i saw it at the 2008 philly car show and was rather disappointed. i dont know why exactly, something just didnt either look right or just "set it off". dont get me wrong, i am happy they are putting it out and it will sure haul ass. but with gas prices out there today, the "cop magnet" that the camaro has had and will have as a sports/muscle car, i dont see spending that much money for that particular car. i would rather put maybe a little more cash out for a bmw m of some kind, cadillac v of some kind or something.

i think it will be awesome tho in the next year or two seeing modern day muscle cars on the road. Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Corvettes and the early 2000's GTO's and Trans Ams. Should be some great head to head battles!

I haven't seen the Camaro in person so not exactly sure what it looks like, aside from the pics. I know they aren't great cars; the TA I used to own had its own set of problems (rattling, fitment issues, etc.) but the overall fun-factor was amazing. More than anything, I miss the F-body and just want to get back into one. I never really liked the look of the 93+ Camaro but this one just seems to do it for me :)
I never liked anything Dodge ever had to offer, and I feel the same about the Challenger. Again, this is only from pics I've seen but they seem to have the ugliest and cheapest looking interiors I have ever seen. Granted, I am partial to the Viper, but aside from that....
I agree though, it will be great to have the big 3 back out on the road with their muscle cars :thumbsup:

I don't think I'll be able to afford one when they come out, but within the first year I plan to.....

I plan on putting one right next to My 2000 WS6.

I would like to get one but probably won't be new.
