Which shift knob do you prefer for aftermarket shifters, such as the UUC?:thankyou:

i've heard good things about the B&M kit...

but others like the UUC.
there are a ton of threads around this forum discussing this, so you should be able to get some more info & others' perspectives from the previous threads

This style I like:

Same in Mr. Vette.

There are probably 40 or 50 threads about this subject.

I don't care for a heavy shift knob and the MOMO let's me do a shift without banging the crap out of it.

Totally a personal choice though.

With my katech I bought the delrin threaded shift knob for the c5 vette. The threads are small enough that you can use a drill bit to cut the threads out then use the tap provided with the katech shifter to thread the delrin knob. I love it. I like the leather but this works well. I paid 40 + shipping.

I like the '09 V knob, and for that matter the steering wheel too. They just look and feel awesome IMO. Hopefully, we can retrofit:D

I kinda like the heavy knobs. I installed my shifter and knob a wwek apart. The UUC knob made it feel much better.
I guess you don't need it on some cars, but our linkage isn't all that great.
I recomend anything with weight to it.

There is a good chance I will be picking up this knob on Monday, I have the UUC shifter and it flat out kicks ass so I want the compete package.

I think you'll be surprised by how much better it makes the shifter feel.
Expensive, but a good choice.

I just sent Luke an email to get one......
I just got the shifter and it will go in as soon as the knob comes.

ive got the leather wrapped uuc knob also. it sits lower, its heavier, feels better when you shift, and it matches the steering wheel. i also like the z06 knob but havent seen any pics of it on a V
