TWO HUNDRED AND ONE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SEVEN acres of land are burning...or were at 8am. And 886, give or take, different identifiable fires in the state of california. Yea, EIGHT HUNDRED AND EIGHTY SIX muther f'ing fires. It hurts to breath here and visibility is down around six feet, or so it seems...Sunsets are amazing though! nikon 06-26-08, 12:47 AM we get hurricanes, water can't put them out.....so quit bitchin :p MauiV 06-26-08, 01:08 AM If the hippies could just ban lightning youd be GOLDEN. BTW, tell those idiots in SoCal that when the rain finally does come their houses are gonna continue to slide off the faces of the hills they built on. AlBundy 06-26-08, 01:53 AM Let's not make it where we're excited about it. This rain thing is really becoming a problem. Those of you who don't believe in global warning might need to redo your research. Spyder 06-26-08, 02:03 AM Hell yea its getting warm! There's two hundred thousand acres of ovens on high with the doors open! dkozloski 06-26-08, 02:23 AM That's 201,567 acres on fire. Those of you who don't believe in global warning might need to redo your research. The global warming freaks are claiming it'll cause floods rather than drought. ewill3rd 06-26-08, 07:19 AM Actually if you really check global warming is causing everything. It causes ice ages, drought, flooding, lightning, fires, high temperatures, clear skies, cloudy skies, polar bear hunger, killer bees, obesity, cancer, reruns on TV, high gas prices, heavier traffic, and all red stoplights between here and work! There are just as many scientists and meteorologists saying we are in a natural weather cycle as there are statistic manipulators crying about global warming. I never laughed so hard as when I lived out in CA and a single bolt of lighting would flash and people would run scared like they had just seen a spaceship. I think they see as many spaceships as they do lightning flashes, at least in the San Francisco Bay area. EcSTSatic 06-26-08, 09:53 AM Google on John Coleman for a different perspective on "global warming" http://www.businessandmedia.org/printer/2008/20080303175301.aspx Florian 06-26-08, 10:49 AM The global warming freaks are claiming it'll cause floods rather than drought. +1 Google on John Coleman for a different perspective on "global warming" http://www.businessandmedia.org/printer/2008/20080303175301.aspx Wow, something we agree on EcSTSatic! :p The list would be a lot shorter if you listed all the good things about CA. F EcSTSatic 06-26-08, 11:10 AM Wow, something we agree on EcSTSatic! :p F I knew you would come around F :D dkozloski 06-26-08, 12:39 PM The solutions proposed for dealing with supposed global warming are in themselves, a bigger problem than the warming. dkozloski 06-26-08, 12:47 PM That's 201,567 acres on fire.
