I know it is a ways off, but are any of you planning on attending this? I plan to be there in my V and my friend, Lacey, may be taking my Talon.

I'm planning on going.
You guys can hit Laguna Seca the day after on Aug 24th.:bouncy:
Weather will be better up there.

Few weeks to go. Anybody else?
Unsafe, are you a returning or beginning student?
(determines what group you get put in)

Beginning. It will be my first time at the track.
If you want, I can ask my friend if he can instruct you.
He is easily the best instructor there.
Otherwise, you just get a random instructor assignment.
Drop me a PM with your Full Name & car model/color, if you think you are interested.
BTW - BW is a very fun track and you get lots of track time with that clinic.

That sounds great! Thanks. PM sent.
This will be one of my last cool things to do in CA as I have to PCS to Minot, ND at the end of September. :(

Minot, ND at that time of the year. Bring your long handle underwear, because by early November you will need it in a bad way.:eek Good Luck to you.

Trust me, I am in now way looking forward to that climate. It's going to suck, but I don't really have any say in the matter. Thanks for the good wishes.

Okay, here are some of the pits and staging. Most of the actual on track pictures I have are of my car. There was a good mix of cars at the event. Quite a few Porches. Off the top of my head here are some of the cars I can remember being there: 2 STis, EVO 8/9?, Lambo Gallardo, mid 90s Honda Accord, CRX, 335i, Infiniti M35, G35, BMW M Coupe, Carrera S, Cayenne S, 2 S2000s, a few Boxters, mkI MR2, 240SX, caged M3, Z51 C6, C6 ZO6 and a couple Mustangs. I'll go through the on track pictures later, but for now:
This is an awesome clinic.
More of you guys should hit it.
The instructors are good (especially if you get my friend).
It is a must do for all.
Not to make you a fast driver but to make you safer and more aware and in control.
(Yes, you will be faster as a result).
Unsafe, let's see some action shots. :D

Alright, here's some random on track shots:
Somewhere in the middle of this dust cloud is the 240SX that just went off the track:

Here's a quick vid:
The clinic was a blast. Granted it was hot as hell (101 degrees according to the nav) but the only real problems I ended up having with the car (that I've noticed) were the rear rivets on the front air dam came out (you can see it in some of the pics), the rear dome light cover came off, and the passenger sail panel broke off.
I was really impressed with my V. Granted it wasn't really a race or anything, but I was happy with how it held up against the other cars there.
Excellent! This may be the motivation I needed to sign up for the one in December.
