TexasCadillac 06-25-08, 01:48 PM what exactly do you want?? a program to re size pictures in vista? or is vista doing something it's not supposed to (big surprise!) If it's the former...... http://www.vso-software.fr/products/image_resizer/ good luck! I need to resize pictures. thank you for the link. submariner409 06-25-08, 04:45 PM If you're looking to reduce the file size for posting or just general storage, another way to "Make my pictures smaller" is to hover over the picture in whatever folder you have it stored in and it will highlight. The left drop down will ask, among others, "E-mail this file" When you click on the "e-mail...." a window will ask ".....make my pictures smaller" Click the bullet and mail the pic to yourself. PITA, but it retains the original borders and drops the file size to < 100k. TexasCadillac 06-26-08, 04:20 AM thanks sub, I used the link from Nikon and it worked great. I appreciate the help from both of you. :) Cadillacboy 06-26-08, 03:43 PM Hey Texas, If you're an XP guy then you can also use Power Toys For XP or XP Power Toys - Image Resizer is a good program dwight.j.carter 06-26-08, 09:12 PM I use irfanview search google and you can get it. mde83 07-02-08, 07:30 PM Another way to resize photos in Vista is to save them on your PC, double click them to bring it up. At the top of the screen toward the right side you will see the word "open". Hover over it and 3 choices appear. One of them is "paint"...That's right, Microsoft Paint. Click on it and another verwsion of the image opens in Paint. In Paint, under "Image" you will see the "resize" option. Or just open paint to start with and open the image and resize it there. It is under "Accessories" | |
