The most effective feature of most of this stuff is the decal.

Now, wait just a stinkin' minute !!! I have Edelbrock, Moroso, Jet, CORSA, CarCraft, and Holley stickers on the strut brace, and that's good for an honest 5 hp below idle. I mean, these companies have to pack something worthwhile in the pillow pack parts box.........sheeesh!

No different than wearing clothes with the labels on the outside. It's free advertising for the manufacturer. I have to admit, I'm guilty of putting stickers on my tool boxes.
